This gem of a restaurant has perfectly created dishes with lots of flavors and ample variety. The food is both delicious and nutritious and is good for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Prices are by-the-pound, based on what a person chooses to eat. The restaurant is easy to locate on Fifth Avenue and is close to the Ann Arbor Public Library. You’d be tempted to eat here everyday because of the sensational food. They serve excellent authentic Indian food with just the right amount of spices to put you into nirvana.

This restaurant serves delicious organic pizza, closer to real Italian pizza than anything else in town. You’ll notice Italian-born Ann Arborites eating here regularly. The salads are fantastic, and homemade pasta dishes are to die for. This is one of the best family-run restaurants in the city and is located right on the university campus. The dining room is clean and sharp-looking, yet manages to preserve a relaxed vibe.

Even if you are on a no-oils diet, you will not be disappointed with the selection here. The staff at Vedge Cafe is very helpful in guiding choices and modifications. The food is served quickly and is absolutely delicious. The panini sandwiches and soups, in particular, come highly recommended.

You will find several Ann Arbour residents who have made Blue Nile Restaurant a must-stop for dinner each time they go out. The atmosphere, especially the manner in which the food is delivered, is fantastic and makes for a delightful social experience. The food is similar in style and flavor to Indian or Middle Easter and you might find yourself overeating when you’re there. You are given an assortment of vegetables and seasoned lentils (and chicken and beef if you choose) that you eat by picking up with Ethiopian bread. Be sure to try the house tea on your visit to the restaurant.

Personal, authentic, and wonderfully creative, the Juicy Kitchen is nothing if not original and expressive. The fresh, delicious, and innovative dishes are thoughtfully prepared and presented. You have to get off the beaten path to find this gem! Mediterrano is definitely worth the trip. It hits all the marks in the book - the food is exquisitely prepared with attention to fresh, authentic ingredients, the presentation is deliciously appealing, and the service is very attentive. They serve up delicious North African and Mediterranean Europe meals, with a menu that periodically changes. Definitely try the Carthage Salad.
