Located in Alicante, Spain, Denia is home to a castle on a rocky crag overlooking the city. It was built in the 11th and 12th-century and offers views around the sea, the city and the surrounding area. In the castle is the Palau del Governador, its museum. Denia also has the Museu Etnològic with further details on the history and culture of the city. Each March, there is a bonfire festival where huge paper maché statues, called fallas are set up throughout the town, and then set ablaze. The Bous a la Mar (meaning “Bulls at the Sea”) is held in July. The highlight of this week-long festival is watching bulls run down the main street Marqués de Campo, only to be chased into the Mediterranean sea by those daring enough to enter a makeshift bull ring with them.

Situated right In the historic heart of Denia, this apartment is on the ground floor with two rooms and two patios, one of them with the use of a barbecue and table to enjoy pleasant meals in the open air. The sandy beach is a 15 minute walk away, and satellite TV and WiFi are also available. Smoking is not allowed in the house, but is allowed on both patios. Nathaniel lives there, and is mostly available to get in touch with!
More about the location of this apartment! It’s located in the Old Town, on a road running parallel to Carrer De Loreto. There are an abundance of restaurants and bars which is always great. But not to worry about the noise as the apartment is situated in a quiet corner. It’s also situated within a 15 minute walk to the main shopping street in Denia, Carrer Marques de Campo.
