Ostuni is one of those quaint little villages where everyone dreams of retiring. But, if you have only a couple of days, the best way to explore Ostuni is by foot. Located in Southern Italy in the province of Brindsi, Ostuni is laced with the coastline of the Adriatic Sea giving this city the ocean breeze, exquisite views, and dramatic sunsets. But that is not what sets Ostuni apart. This little commune is known for its cityscape. All walls whitewashed, cobblestone pavements haphazardly laid out; the city is perched strategically atop a hill, giving views of olive trees running for miles, and end with a blue backdrop of the pristine Adriatic Sea in the horizon.
The city was planned in the medieval period and much of it is shown in the maze-like alleyways, random staircases, and confusing arches. And right when you are exploring this paradise, the waft of the ocean breeze and bright geraniums might take you to Greece, but oh no, the Italian charm would be lurking! A stay in Ostuni, almost anywhere, is warm and cozy like you have been transported into a different world where everything is perfect! But here is where we think you should stay to experience Ostuni the Italian way.
We handpicked these listings carefully, considering (wherever possible) Superhost status, recent guest reviews, location, accommodation type, prices, availability of dates, decor, and amenities. 1. Relais Sant'Eligio (from USD 160)
The stunning panoramic views of the village from the balcony is all you will need in Ostuni. Located on the Adriatic coastline, on one side is the translucent blue water singing in praise of the city, and the other view shows the white walls of the village, standing in pride. Old-world luxury mixed with modern opulence, the hotel’s dining experience is another must. White tables nestled in white washed niche spaces serving delicious Italian food, it is sure to be indulgent.

2. Hotel La Terra (from USD 162)
Keeping in mind Ostuni’s best feature - the walls - this hotel’s design includes this key component in the most brilliant way. It just exudes Ostuni’s Balkan vibes and is sure to make your stay very cozy. Why you ask? Right outside your window (a modern one tucked in the old walls), you’ll see those haphazard paths and it is an absolute delight to watch the town pass by from your window. It truly is a unique view, isn’t it? While you’re there, check out their wine cellar and make sure you try Ostuni’s finest!

3. Stunning Ostuni Villa with Exclusive Pool (from USD 284)
This villa is just the epitome of living in Italy! The kitchen definitely impressed us first, but the pool and the patio would probably be the place we would want to rest and breathe in Italy. Right from the entry to the bathrooms, this villa is beautifully decorated with Italian accents, like the figurine of the young boy playing the flute at the entrance. They also have a brick oven and a table by the side making it absolutely perfect to invite new friends for a pizza lunch. Or, how about pizza and Ostuni’s best wine by the pool? The villa has four rooms and each one strikingly carries the city’s white, old-Italy theme.

5. Stylish Trullo's Lamia (from USD 66)
When old-world meets luxury, this magnificent Trullo is born. This one bedroom traditional dry stone hut has a beautiful infinity pool that overlooks the village and the olive trees. Inside, though modernly furnished and equipped, the Trullo’s colonial roof and the columns give it a very Italian vibe. It is almost dreamy with those views of the turquoise blue, the matching sky, the dramatic clouds and the thin streak of olive trees, creating a watercolor-like painting before your eyes. What you will appreciate most about this place is the sheer dedication to traditional architecture in an otherwise modern home.

Another cozy one bedroom, 18th-century apartment, their most treasured space is the terrace. It is ideal for brunches or just to watch the city, or the roaring waves of the Adriatic sea on a pleasant evening. The stonework and arches are kept intact and are used naturally to adorn the rooms and kitchen. Another example of finesse in Italian architecture, this centuries old home has been transformed using the natural beauty but still gives you the comfort and luxury of a modern house. Luxury accommodation with exceptional service and amenities.
Beautifully maintained property with a relaxing pool area and an honesty bar.
Conveniently located near Ostuni, providing easy access to the city center.
Superb restaurant offering top-quality breakfast, lunch, and dinner with locally sourced ingredients.
The 16th-century Masseria is enveloped by century-old olive trees, a beautiful farm where produce for your dinner is sourced from and a rustic feeling that will make your stay warm and homely. The food they serve, authentic Italian with quality ingredients from around the estate, has received a lot of admiration and has even been marked as a must try. Better yet, experience Italian fine dining under string lights, with the breeze coming from the ocean, while drizzling olive oil-made from fruits bore by a tree next to you-on your salad and sipping red wine from a vineyard a mile away.
