The centuries-old Galtaji Temple in Jaipur is unique in many ways. Located atop hills and surrounded by the Aravalli Range, Galtaji Temple is a popular pilgrimage site and has a long history. Though it is famous among pilgrims, you can also see architecture enthusiasts and art lovers roaming the premises. Apart from the lower water tank, as depicted in the picture, the temple also has a beautiful pool atop where visitors can take a dip and relax.
If you are trekking up the hill, make sure to carry enough water and snacks with you as you won't find any shops here. Also, be cautious of the monkeys here. If you like taking photographs, then visit the temple during the monsoons to capture it in full glory. Otherwise, winters make for the best season to visit it.
