Key West may be best known for its beautiful views of the sunset, sandy beaches, warm weather and electric nightlife. The food, however, may be Key West’s best kept secret. A hotbed of different cultures, you’ll find dishes unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before. From lobster and chicken to tacos and burritos. You’ll come for the romance, you’ll stay because of the food.

10. New York Pasta Garden

Posted by New York Pasta Garden key west on Tuesday, 22 September 2015

No, I didn’t put a New York restaurant in this by mistake. The New York Pasta Garden is one of the only places in Key West to get pasta. Since 1989, this Italian restaurant has been serving huge portions of fresh seafood pastas, non-seafood pastas, pizza, sandwiches and tropical drinks. Over the years, the Pasta Garden has become a hot spot for nightlife as the outdoor patio makes for a great dining atmosphere. In fact, the New York Pasta Garden is so popular now that has earned numerous accolades. I think it’s time to stop in and see what the fuss is about.

Since Key West is located on the Gulf of Mexico, it’s no surprise that you can find the best seafood in the world here. Still, you can find much, much more than that. It’s also home to some of the best Caribbean and Mexican cuisine you’ll find anywhere in America. While you may be thinking about the warm weather, beautiful beaches and breathtaking sunset before you get to Key West, it’ll be the food that brings you back.
