Just six minutes from downtown and 20 minutes from Parris Island, this family home was designed and built by one of Beaufort’s own ‘real characters’ in 1955, and has been lovingly restored to to its original 1950s charm. Located truly in the best location of Beaufort, feel free to walk to restaurants, shops, museums, and the Waterfront Park by the marina. Just an easy drive to Parris Island, the Sands in Park Royal, and Hunting Island Beach, this carriage house includes an outdoor seating area for you to relax near the lush greenery. Rock away your cares and relax on the porch. Sip on a cold drink and admire the 100 year old oak trees draped with Spanish moss in the lovely garden outside. Enter the cosy living room. There are certainly enough sofas and armchairs to fit the whole family for a time of laughter and jokes. Feel the soft linen and comfy pillows in this queen-sized bed topped with a wooden canopy.
