The Lohagad trek is a must-do if you're in Lonavala or Khadala for a weekend getaway. The difficulty level is medium, and you can easily reach the highest point in an hour or so. At the top, you'll find a small pond, a temple, and a mosque. However, the fun is while trekking this ancient fort, which allows you to take in the breathtaking views of the surroundings. However, be sure to carry water and a hat and wear comfortable shoes. Entry and parking are free and there is a public washroom at the starting point.
