This spacious four-bedroom rental is located in the heart of Summerhaven, so it offers convenient access to Mt Lemmon as well as the surrounding areas. Nestled in a wooded area, this two-bedroom cabin is great for eight. Both bedrooms here have bunk beds. The wraparound deck is equipped with a barbecue, and the front patio is an ideal place to get some air. Some important things worth noting are that you’ll have to dispose of the trash yourself appropriately, used bed linens are to be left on the floor by the front door, used towels are to be left on the floor by the front stairs, turn off all lights, heating, and the fireplace when leaving, and leave the rental clean upon check-out. Guests are requested to ensure that the rental’s main door is kept shut at all times to restrict insect and/or animal entry.

Ideal year-round destination
The best time to enjoy skiing and snowboarding at Mt Lemmon is from late December to March, and sometimes even April, while the rest of the year is great for hiking, birdwatching, camping, fishing, and a ton of other outdoor activities. There’s no entry fee to Mt Lemmon itself, but prices vary for activities that you may want to book. You can invest in a Coronado Recreational Pass or a National Pass/America the Beautiful Pass, available at Palisades Ranger Station, to access several areas and activities with ease. Camping or staying here for a prolonged period is definitely an option, but day tips from Tucson are also convenient.
