With a population of over a million and a half, Philadelphia is the largest city in the State of Pennsylvania. And like many other cities, the downtown here is ringed by a bunch of zones, speaking of just its northeastern, it holds a very substantial part of its population. About 400,000 people live here, which theoretically makes Northeast Philadelphia a whole new city for us, this area, in particular, has several points of interest like the History of Nursing Museum, Pennypack Park, and many attractions like Parx Casino, Juniata Golf Course, Rolling Thunder Skating Centers, and more. However, work could be another reason for anyone’s visit, and thus you can take a look at this index of pocket-friendly Airbnb vacation rentals near Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
We handpicked these listings carefully, considering (wherever possible) Superhost status, recent guest reviews, location, accommodation type, prices, availability of dates, decor, and amenities. The image galleries get refreshed with the latest updates regularly. They were last updated on April 07, 2024.

3. Farmhouse in the suburbs (from USD 1000)
This century-old farmhouse with extensive lands is located in the suburbs, this place is often visited by a herd of deer, thus we feel it’d be an excellent holiday spot. The interior of this farmhouse is restored as the years are still between the 50s and 60s. Certainly, guests will feel the touch of atomic and space age with every little thing, they have even put some magazines of that era. The shelter has sleeper space for four, general entertainment features like the television and Wifi are present.
A full kitchen and laundry section is available too. Including one with the firepit, there are in total three outdoor seating areas. One dog is permitted, and smoking is allowed outside. The host gives discounts to active military personnel.

4. Nicely furnished flat with reliable Wifi (from USD 100)
The second floor of this building houses the rental unit. It is situated a street across the Pennypack Park. The construction is new, and guests would have all the comfort, entertainment, and safety features. The flat has an open kitchen, installed with the modern appliances, including a range. A fine way to utilize this space is making homecooked meals using fresh products bought from the food markets found around Philly.
This apartment in Northeast Philadelphia has a work desk too, which includes an all-in-one printer. The happy thing about our last option is that it’s not expensive, you should consider picking up this option if you have to keep a balance between work and rest.

5. Apartment close to many restaurants (from USD 89)
This rental offers an experience of beach life. It is spacious and gets so much daylight that guests would think, am I still in Philly? The location is somewhere between the north and the northeast of Philadelphia and is a gorgeous apartment. It’s really inexpensive and is meant to hold six guests. Another bright side is that how near the city center is to the apartment.
The Wi-Fi is fast and the living room has a smart television, how can someone leave the sofa now. But hunger will definitely hit, in that event, this locality has numerous places to eat including ones that offer Israeli, Vietnamese, and Korean restaurants in the vicinity, in case guests aren’t in the mood for cooking.

6. Inexpensive stay near Pennypack Park
This cozy little apartment is situated in the middle of two bus routes. The shopping areas are steps away, and the city is just under a 20-minute drive from this location. This rental has comfort and entertainment amenities and it does look promising at this low price point. However, this place has somewhat lesser features than our other booking options. For instance, the kitchen, washer/dryer, and Wifi are missing here. However, we just cannot ignore the effort of this host, because no one could go any lower than this tariff to lodge four adults. This is one of the most inexpensive stays on our list.

7. Spacious townhouse for a group
This entire townhouse at the Willits Road territory is available for rent, which is nearby Delaware River and Pennypack Park. This rental would be perfect for a large group or a big family. This spacious house comes with five bedrooms and five beds, with space is for nine guests. For a convenient stay, bathrooms are two, plus there is one half-bath. The kitchen and washer are operable, and with the general amenities, we have some safety features too. Unfortunately, Wifi is not available this time, but free parking on premise is possible.

8. A house that is fit for a crowd
There is plenty of room for everyone in this rental as it’s a three-level house. It is ideal for large groups and huge families. Beds and sleeper mattresses can adjust up to 16 guests. When this house is packed to its full capacity, the host also offers heavy discount on the existing tariff. However, the number of bathrooms may not be enough for such a large gathering, as there are just two and a half of them. This house is set at a very desirable location in the suburbs, the playground, stores, and restaurants are walking distance from this spot. The residence has ample comfort, plus free breakfast supplies will also be delivered to guests. If lodgers plan to stay longer than three nights, the host would greet them with a bottle or case of drinks.

9. Ranch in the suburbs with family features
Ashton Place is suitable for people looking for a serene stay. It is a ranch at the outer of northeast’s suburb. The entire three-bedroom house is offered on rent, except for its garage. However, the driveway has plenty of parking space. It’s an excellent package for a family of four, even travel crib and babysitters can be arranged for. The house comprises general entertainment stuff, and its kitchen is in working condition. Please be advised that a trampoline is placed at the backyard, but the host requests to not use that for everyone’s safety.

10. The most affordable rental on our list
The interiors are odd, but this guest suite is undoubtedly interesting. We have saved this property on our list as it is affordable, conveniently connected to the major routes, and finally, it is steps away from Pennypack Park. Surprisingly, we have every general and entertainment feature in this little cozy apartment, including a private washer and dryer. Just the kitchen is missing, but the host has set a microwave oven at the corner of the living room to reheat the meals while enjoying movies. For the price you pay, it is more than you can ask for in this area.

11. A gorgeous place near the market
We’re now presenting an affordable option which is suitable for five guests to stay. It is a two bedroom apartment that’s not very far from supermarkets and restaurants. Also, this is a top-rated property. This fully furnished apartment is loaded with amenities. There are wide-screen televisions and wireless sound system. The kitchen is usable, and even the kids would have their own sophisticated toy kitchen set and other exciting games, certainly, so they will also remain pleasantly engaged.

12. Cozy apartment near downtown
One wouldn’t find a lodging any closer to the Philadelphia’s Historic District and the downtown in further lower rates than this booking, it is literally minutes away from the city center yet the apartment is still set on the quiet side of the suburb. A comfortable stay is guaranteed with this reservation. This rental house can lodge a group of six adults. There are three double beds inside the apartment’s two bedrooms for a good nights sleep. The kitchen is equipped, the bathroom has a bathtub, and there are enough entertainment arrangements. Free car parking is also available.

The invisible benefit
Do you know that Philadelphia gets over 40 million tourists annually? This figure only takes account of people coming here for leisure, and not work. Visiting the Independence National Historic Park, Philadelphia’s Museum of Art, Magic Garden, and strolling the new and old city could be reasons for their tour. But, Philly is a big city and hotel stays are expensive here. It would be very affordable to trip the metropolis while staying in its suburbs.
