Sierra Nevada is a mountain range and popular ski area located close to the city of Granada in Andalucia, Spain. Veleta, the third highest peak in the country, is home to the ski slopes, while the popular resort village of Pradollano sits at the foot of the slopes, where the ski lifts can be regularly taken up to the ski area.
