As you’re driving by the main interstate, I-4, or throughout most of Orlando’s International Drive, a high rise that looks like a cylinder with a globe on top may have caught your eye. You notice it’s the Four Points by Sheraton – and you start to wonder what it may be like to stay there. Look no further, we are here to give you a tour of this lovely property.

Lobster, pancakes, and golf

The Room at Four Points by Sheraton Studio City

First off, this hotel may not be as expensive as you think it may be. Compared to other hotels within the Orlando area, this hotel is priced competitively from 100 USD and up per night. Expect to pay an extra for resort fees, which includes parking on the premises and the use of the pool and fitness area during your stay. Congo River Golf, a place where you can go mini golfing, even late in the evening, is located steps from the lobby. There are also several dining establishments, like Ihop, where you can have your breakfast any time of day, and Red Lobster, which specializes in seafood. Other attractions are also within walking distance, like iFly, where you can experience skydiving indoors.

The Sheraton Eye in the sky

You’ll find the room to be quite spacious. It has a microwave and a mini fridge, as well as cable television and a small writing desk. What’s most impressive about it though, is the view. The view changes depending on the floor you’re staying in, and also which part of the cylinder your room is located. You may get to see a view of the roller coasters of Fun Spot America, a small theme park located within a few minutes from the hotel. You may also get assigned a room with a view of one of Orlando’s biggest attractions: the Orlando Eye, a ferris wheel from the makers of the famous London Eye. The best views are in the evening, when you see the roller coasters and the Orlando Eye completely lit up in neon colors. Compared to other hotels within International Drive, the Four Points by Sheraton Studio City is a high rise, so it is a novelty in and of itself. You may also choose to just watch the cars pass by on one of the main thoroughfares in Florida, I-4, in the comfort of your own room.

Come for the pool, stay for the games

The Game Room at the Four Points by Sheraton Studio City

Don’t stay too long in your room though, the other parts of the hotel await! At the ground floor is the pool, which stays heated even during winter! There is also a small restaurant near the pool area that serves sandwiches. Another specialty restaurant is located at the ground floor which serves buffet breakfast for an extra fee. There’s also a small gym for the fitness buffs, but the best part is the arcade! The game room has several games from air hockey, to racing, to even Simpsons Pinball. You can also try your luck at winning something from the claw machine. The games in the game room require special tokens, but there is a change machine to help you with that. It’s a fun and novel feature – as few hotels have arcades!

Quirky and quality hotel in a great location

At the Four Points by Sheraton Studio City, you can do no wrong: whether you prefer to stay within the area and enjoy the facilities, or just treat it as a base for your Orlando exploration, the location is just perfect and within a few miles from the major attractions. This high rise is definitely one of the best hotels that you can get a great value for during your stay: from the views, to the walkability factor, the games, and through a variety of excellent food choices.
