At Hotel Sun Valley Nasu you can bathe to you hearts content in the 3 different types of hot spring water that they own, the Nasu Onsen (sulfur onsen), Shin Nasu no Yu (weak alkaline), and Heisei no Yu (magnesium). In both the men’s and women’s baths there are multiple outdoor baths where you can experience nature fully. In total there are 20 different baths. The Fruit Bath where fresh fruits are floating in the water is popular with women. Each type of onsen water has unique healing properties, Nasu Onsen has a milky coloration to it because of the sulfur content, the weak alkaline bath is clear, and the magnesium bath is slightly brown. Also there are 10 different saunas each with their own properties such as the Sumi Sauna (coal sauna) which is good for fatigue, stress relief, and clearing the skin, while the Dry Sauna is good for relieving shoulder pains.
