Located at the Spree, directly next to the East Side Gallery, one can find the Captain’s Beach with its magnificent beach. Relax on their fine sands in comfortable daybeds and recliners. Handmade sunshades made of straw and big palm trees offer enough shade to enjoy your stay there. Several beach bars and a cocktail bar offer refreshing drinks just like the Pirates’ self-created cocktails. For example, the “Pirates Mango Punch” is made from four different rum flavors, mango as well as guava, pineapple and lemon juice. In case you feel hungry, grab a pizza or pasta either in the restaurant or the ample terrace with a stunning view of the Spree. If you are on tour with your boat on the river, do not let that deter you from making a stop here.
