1. Blueboat Hostel Haeundae
Blueboat Hostel Haeundae is a quiet hostel located in the downtown area of Haeundae, only 10 minutes walking to Haeundae beach or 3 minutes to the ‘Haeundae’ metro stop. This hostel is very close to a lot of restaurants, shopping, ATMs, and convenience stores. This property is also an excellent value per night at only 22,000 KRW (18 USD) for a dorm bed for one person, but this property also separates dorms based on sex. This means if you are traveling in a mixed group of boys and girls you will not be able to book dorm beds together on the same floor or in the same room. If you are a group of all boys or all girls you are in luck and can book dorm beds together sharing a room and a floor. Each floor will have bathrooms including all toiletries (toothpaste, shampoo, and conditioner) and towels for their guests. The layout of the space is very bright, clean and inviting for their guests, plus they include free breakfast!

2. Good Day Mate
Good day Mate, the highest rated hostel in this area by guest reviews, not only for financial value but for its location close to the beach. In 5 minutes you can reach the famous Haeundae beach and in 3 minutes the metro station, shops and restaurants. It is a great choice for couples or multiple friends on a budget who still want their own room instead of a dorm setup. A double room here will set you back around 189,000 KRW (150 USD) for 3 nights and includes breakfast and free Wi-Fi! You will have a large double bed, private bathroom and unbeatable metro and beach access. They also offer triple rooms, twin rooms with a 2-bed setup and family rooms for up to 4 people, at a slightly higher cost per night.

3. Gray Guest House (Dorms from 19,000 KRW/16 USD)
Gray Guest House is another excellently rated hostel in Haeundae, 4 minutes walking from Busan Aquarium and a 5 minute walk from Haeundae Beach. This hostel has a very rustic, wooden floored, but modern overall look to it since its only 2 years old. All rooms come with access to a shared bathroom or if you pay extra you can have your own. For all guests they offer free toiletries and a hairdryer in their rooms. If you want to cook while staying here you can also take advantage of the shared kitchen at the property. Since they only offer family rooms for 4 people or single dorm bunks (for 1 person per bed), this location is not a good choice for couples. For three nights in a dorm bunk here you are looking at 60,000 KRW (50 USD) per person, per bed. For a family room you are looking at about 100,000 KRW per night (85 USD) For sightseeing purposes, Marine City is one kilometer from Gray Guest House, and Dalmaji Hill is 2.1 km from this hostel.

They give their guests slippers, free toiletries, a TV with cable channels, free breakfast, and free Wi-Fi. Their rooms feature brand new, modern interiors and they are soundproof! This particular property does sell out fast so if it is your top choice, make sure to book early. For 3 nights in a mixed dorm room with your own single bed you are going to pay around 66,000 KRW (52 USD), so this location is the cheapest option on this list for the super budget/solo traveler, but it can also cater to friends and families for a little more per night. They offer a spacious common area with a piano and books to read at your leisure. Most rooms will have a shared bathroom, but reviews constantly praise the cleanliness of the shared bathrooms.
