Perfectly located in southwest Crete, Elafonissi Beach is a snow-sandy haven with blue waters. You can easily play in the waters since it’s not very deep. You can also sunbathe by renting a relaxing sunbed. If you are lucky, you can spot the loggerhead sea turtle on the shores. Do not forget to bring your camera to capture the scintillating views of the sunset. Once you get hungry, check out the gourmet eateries and restaurants nearby for delightful dining. If you have extra time, visit Chrisoskalitissa Monastery, which is located very close as well.

Stafilos Beach is a bluish-green beauty located on the stunning Skopelos. This beach is named after a renowned king, Minoan King Staphylus, who used this shore for his ships. Located 4 kilometers (2.4 miles) from town, this gray-sand retreat is equipped with loungers and umbrellas for fun-loving visitors. There is a beach bar if you want to relax with a drink. If you wish to spend some alone time, there is an isolated area that offers total seclusion and ultimate rejuvenation.
