5. Mezze Palace Lebanese Restaurant
A Lebanese restaurant in Bristol, this is a great place to experience food from a different culture. They have a lot of different lamb dishes as well as fishes, salads and desserts. The unique thing about this place is that it is actually a set meal with different courses. So there could be a course of salad, lamb meatballs, salmon and dessert. They are relatively small dishes but when placed altogether there is no way any customer will leave here still hungry.

This little food joint is just about everything anyone could ask for. Eggs and coffee for breakfast, little sandwiches and tea and lunch with bigger meals and beer or wine for dinner. They make everything in the restaurant, so no store-bought food here. The history of the little place is that the owners originally lived in Australia for over seven years and decided to bring those food traditions back to the UK with them. After getting a dead end in London, they went to visit family in Bristol and decided to set up shop there. They have been there since July 2015, making customers happy and enjoying their business. The best thing about this place is that they are an inexpensive treat to travelers and they welcome children!

From wine to beer and liquor, these guys know their different adult beverages. That doesn’t mean this place isn’t suitable for kids though. Children are welcome with their parents and they have a nice little menu for kids to try out too.

This is a little Italian restaurant located in Bristol. They have normal spaghetti dishes but they also serve more authentic Italian dishes that people may not be used to. It’s definitely something new to try and most likely customers will not be disappointed with whatever they may decide to order. And before the meal even starts, customers get a taste of real homemade bread and butter that tastes so good, they won’t be able to stop eating it.

Another Italian restaurant among the streets of Bristol, Aquila was named one of the top three Italian restaurants in Bristol and it was a title rightly given! They have vegan dishes, seafood dishes and even pizza with a dough that is homemade. Customers always say “one more bite” but then they feel too full to move after leaving here. And with true Italian desserts to finish off the meal, no one will leave here feeling unsatisfied!

Crazy for pasta? This is definitely the place for you! They have all kinds of pasta dishes that will make any pasta lover swoon. The best part about this pasta restaurant is that the pasta is all homemade. And as much work as it is to make homemade pasta everyday, it’s well worth the reactions that people have when they bite into these dishes. Pasta isn’t the only thing they serve though. They also have different beef and chicken dishes, as well as seafood dishes like crab, shrimp and lobster. No one will leave hungry from this restaurant.

11. Giggling Squid Clifton
Posted by Bristol Bites on Monday, 30 March 2015
This is a Thai food restaurant and as odd as it may seem to have such a restaurant in Bristol, the owners chose a good place to set up shop. There really aren’t many Thai restaurants in Bristol so they get a lot of business and happy customers. Their menu is pretty big, but customers can narrow it down to what they are really in the mood for. They could choose a Thai noodle dish, Thai pork dumplings, honey duck, beef salad or even salt and pepper squid. Whatever customers may choose, they won’t leave here disappointed.

Obviously known for their pizza, they have some amazing creations here. The dough is all homemade and the ingredients taste as if they picked them just this morning. The staff is very accommodating and will do whatever is necessary to make the customer happy. If pizza is on the brain, this is definitely the place to try out.
