places to eat in york

A lot of people have said that there is almost too much choice when it comes to dining out in the historic city of York, with its various fudge and sweet shops, to the countless cute little cafes and bistros, and of course the pubs that have been around since the 1800s, variety will not be a problem when you step out on the ancient lanes of York! If you’re looking for hearty traditional meals, the Shambles Tavern is calling your name with its 13th century walls, or if coffee and cake is more to your liking, you’ll find Bennetts in the shadow of the breathtaking York Minster to provide an amazing view to your delicious lunch!
