Rialto Theatre opened in 1922, with enough seats to accommodate over 500 guests. It also featured a small balcony with some of the seats. After a fire burned it down in 1936, the theater was rebuilt and styled with Art Deco finishes.

Now, it is a historical landmark in Beeville that draws visitors in with movie showings and live performances. It also features special events, such as auctions and murder mystery dinners, where several enthusiasts - locals and tourists - come down for a good night.
