The Silver Coast Winery opened its doors to the public on May 2002, as the first winery in Brunswick County and the 22nd in North Carolina. A family owned and operated winery started by Maryann and her husband, Dr. Azzato, it is known for its award-winning wines from American Oak Chardonnay to White Merlot, Touriga, and Cabernet.
