Hoyt Farms Park is located in Commack and near Smithtown, and it is known as one of the best places to spend a day in the outdoors! This park is open from 8 a.m. until dusk 365 days a year! Originally, the property was owned by the Wicks family who purchased the land in 1770. In its heyday, the family farm was a successful apple and peach orchid. Today, the park is open to the public with both recreational fields, nature walks, a museum, and educational activities.
