Built in 1901 in Crowley, LA by David E.Lyons, The Grande Opera House can absolutely be depicted as one of the most exceptional second-story operas ever. In its earlier days, the building was primarily used for entertainment of all types, such as vaudeville and many other minstrel shows. Famous artists like Clark Gable and Enrico Caruso are small representatives of the great performers who would put on great shows on this grand stage. Although it was shut down for many years, the building got completely renovated to bring back its former charisma and beauty on stage once again!

Meet the splendid Levy Park in the lovely city of Crowley! Honestly, there’s so much to see while being in Crowley, so why not start it all off by visiting Levy Park? You can always relax under a shady oak tree around here. As wonderful as this park is, it’s actually one of the few original recreational areas founded by the Duson brothers - being the founders of the city as well. Actually, it was exactly these guys who developed the 80’s Greetings from Levy Park. Today, it’s a really popular event loved by locals and international visitors alike. It offers not only some great live music but mouth-watering dishes as well! Other artistic shows are often held at the lovely Levy Park as well.

3. Bayou Bend Country Club

Often recognized as St. Michael the Archangel Church, this majestic Catholic church is actually located right in the heart of the lovely city of Crowley. Established back in 1897, St. Michael the Archangel served the inhabitants of Crowley, Louisiana for more than 100 years. In its early days, the building served as a Catholic school and as a traditional church too. Generally, the church’s classrooms were situated right on the first floor.

Explore St. Michael’s Church: Later on, an additional land was purchased for the building of the St. Michael Catholic School. Today, the church impresses all visitors with its epic history and deep-rooted beliefs.
