Sunset Island Park is a family-friendly park, which got its name from the beautiful sunsets that are visible over Lake Eustis. This park is a great place to spend a few hours but it is not equipped with washrooms. This means that the best time to visit this park is towards sunset, so you can see the view, over the lake. The park also features four tennis courts.

Eustis has various sinkholes and the local water authority decided to funnel water through these holes, to preserve the area. This beautiful area is equipped with steep hills. If you’re descending to the lake via the Alfred Trail, be aware that this area is extremely steep, but it is a great place if you’re looking for an extreme hiking workout.
