The Cherokee Speedway is a dirt track that has become a hub for car racing enthusiasts. Racing events are scheduled every Saturday. The pit is usually fully packed especially when there are championship games. Entrance fee is charged per adult while children are given free admission. The Cherokee County History and Arts Museum stands on the historic ground where the South Carolina Militia used to assemble. Displayed in the museum are artifacts and exhibits that reveal the way of life of the Cherokee people and how their culture developed. They focus on peach production, which is the leading industry of Gaffney, horse and car racing, and moonshining. Events are also held in the museum regularly.

4. Cowpens National Battlefield
The Cowpens National Battlefield is where the Americans won against the British army in a battle that decided the Revolutionary War. Britain was defeated and as a result, its 13 colonies in America joined forces to form the United States of America. Today, the battlefield has a museum where visitors can see exhibits from the American Revolution era. Guests are given a guided tour of the battlefield.
