Believe it or not, Agadir is actually one of Moroccan’s top tourist destinations offering lovely beaches and an amazing range of fun activities to do during the daytime or when the sun goes down. A curious fact about the gorgeous city of Agadir is that it was completely destroyed following a massive earthquake in 1960. Fortunately, the whole city was refurbished, and, actually, we can definitely say that it looks so attractive today that we would not doubt going there for the upcoming summer season. What about you? Your Agadir holiday will not be complete without a visit to the fascinating Memory Agadir Museum. It is a lovely city museum that is found in the beautiful and vibrant area of Jardin d'Olhao. It features exhibits that center on Agadir and the lifestyle in the city before the tragic earthquake that struck it in 1960. It features newspapers that have reports on the devastation that occurred. Besides those, it has old photographs that take visitors back to its past.

Referred to as a great symbolical tourist spot in and around the shiny Moroccan City, Kasbah is indeed a significant landmark that’s certainly worth exploring, at least once in a lifetime. Situated about 7 km (4.3 miles) away from the city center, the historic site of Kasbah offers compelling stories and curious facts about its grand past. Its area used to house more than 300 people back in the day and we can definitely point at Kasbah as a survivor of the massive earthquake back in 1960, which led to catastrophic results.

Explore Kasbah: apart from its epic history, the site of Kasbah features quite superb views which couldn’t be seen anywhere else.
