This is considered to be the most beautiful beach in this area and one of the most popular, with over 100,000 visitors each season. Clean and tranquil, it provides a gorgeous view of the Atlantic Ocean. This beach recently got a brand new, eco-friendly pavilion with many amenities to enrich your experience. It consists of a concessions stand, bathrooms, showers, and changing rooms. There are also picnic tables that you can use, and a nice boardwalk that leads to the beach. From here, you can enjoy an ocean-side walk to Shinnecock Inlet, the busiest commercial fishing port in the state of New York. The parking space here is free only after 5 pm.

Since Hampton Bays is all about the ocean and the coast, it would be a shame not to explore all the beaches you can. Meschutt Beach is located in Peconic Bay, which makes it ideal for families with children. There are little to no waves so the water is warm and calm. While your kids have fun at the playground, you can sink your feet in the sand and enjoy a breathtaking view of the bay. There is a beach store as well as a restaurant nearby, and if you want to have some fun, indulge in some colorful cocktails at the outdoor bar and go dancing.

This park is a beautiful recreational spot next to a lake, right in the middle of Long Island Pine Barrens. It offers a variety of interesting activities and sports, from hiking and bird watching to fishing, hunting, and horseback riding - for which you will need a permit. If you like camping, there are campsites for tents and trailers here as well. You can rent boats, play volleyball, or organize a barbecue. There are picnic tables, bathrooms, showers, and running water available, however, there are no electric hookups. Whether you want to get away from the city’s crowd and noise, have fun with friends, or teach your kids to love and enjoy nature, this park is the best place to enjoy your time.

Once you arrive, you can indulge in mouthwatering Carribean cuisine, cocktails, rum drinks, and relaxing reggae music. This restaurant is open all year round. Keep in mind that Rumba is not pet-friendly, so, unfortunately, you will not be able to bring your furry friend with you.
