Here, you can gaze at birds by the pavilions while enjoying a family picnic making it an experience you will not get in the midst of your buzzing city life. You can also walk to the lake and take your time to stand and fish on the water’s edge from the dock or if you would like to explore the lake you can also go boating or jet skiing.

2. Have a biking adventure along the West Orange Trail

The West Orange Trail is packed with parks, resting areas, paved trail for biking, picnic tables, playgrounds, and plenty of greenery for nature lovers giving you a good time right from the moment you set foot into any one of its four main stations en route. On this 22-mile (35 km) long trail, you will find yourself in the lap of nature with chirping birds and cool breeze swaying the trees. For a fairly decent price, you can plan an outing at the Ocoee Family Aquatic Center with your loved ones especially kids. It features a zero-depth entry pool with a maximum depth of 4 feet (1.2 m) that also includes three distinct play features. If some of your group members don’t want to be in the pool all the time there’s also chairs, recliners, and tables throughout the pool deck where they can relax under the sun. You could also head to the Jim Beech Recreation Center which is literally next door.
