It offers activities like separate trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, canoeing on the river, and camping; there’s also plenty of wildlife to take in. Posted by Trails & Travel on Sunday, 7 February 2016

Cross Seminole Trail is yet another trail in Oviedo, and connects to many other trails. There are a couple of parks you could visit while you’re wandering this trail (they also act as trailheads); Big Tree Park once featured a National Champion Bald Cypress Tree that was 3,500 years old, but it sadly burned in a fire in 2012 (though you can see what’s left of it), and a 2,000 year old Bald Cypress Tree, and Greenwood Lakes Park has some tennis courts and a hockey rink. For another detour, you can walk the boardwalk to Lake Jesop at Spring Hammock Preserve.
