Open every Saturday, October through April, Green Market at Wellington is located near the Wellington Amphitheater, and it is one of the city’s favorite farmer’s market. The market is also home to local artists selling their jewelry and handicrafts. 8. Meet exotic animals at the Wellington Conservation Center
Animal lovers of all ages will have a blast visiting the Wellington Conservation Center, an exotic animals’ sanctuary that many injured or abandoned animals call home. Here guests can see birds and mammals that are treated, cared for, and ultimately rehabilitated or returned to the wild. Some of the center’s most prominent stars include capybaras, crested porcupines, lemurs, maras, and sloths. Not only exotic animals live here but also farm animals like ferrets, sheep, ducks, and goats, and wild animals like hedgehogs, flemish rabbits, and foxes. On the more colorful side of the spectrum, there are macaws, cockatoos, and parakeets being saved and are living at the center.

10. Rediscover ancient life at The Palm Beach Museum of Natural History
Take a walk down history at The Palm Beach Museum of Natural History. Their collections include the Expedition Ice Age, which features a variety of real fossils and replicas, including Giant Sloths and Mammoths. The museum also hosts the only actual dinosaur skeleton available for the public in southern Florida; it was excavated by the museum’s paleontologists. Kids and grown-ups alike will enjoy a history lesson and spotting some pretty impressive dinosaurs on display.
