Also known as the World’s littlest skyscraper, the Newby-McMohan Building is a 40-foot (12-meter) tall building that is part of Wichita Falls’ Depot Square Historic District and is considered a Texas Historic Landmark. This little skyscraper was supposed to be taller than what it is today but because of certain circumstances, the skyscraper sadly turned out to be a bad investment.

Despite the original builders of this skyscraper losing their investment in this building, the world’s littlest skyscraper stands today as one of the few buildings that represent late Neoclassical design.

Located in the center of Wichita Falls, Lucy Park is home to a bend in the Wichita River and a series of waterfalls, from which the town derives its name.
