They opened just last year: June 4, 2016 to be exact. A hardware store used to operate here and it closed, so now we have Oil Horse Brewing operated by the brewers and owners Jack Buttram and John Oglesby. The resourceful owners used iron pipe and oak trees for their bars, and they sure know how to brew. Albeit still new in business, they can rival old and already established breweries in terms of producing high-quality and impressive beers.
They offer pale and blonde ale, a landman brown, and an Irish red. Some activities are also offered at the brewery, and new flavors too! Make sure you check them out when you pass by Longview.
