Seminyak is a city with a vibrancy and zest in anything ranging from beautiful beaches, art galleries, designer shops, clubs and everything in between. It is located in the south of Bali. In the city’s south lies Legian and Kuta while Kerobokan borders the north. Despite being home to scores of expats from around the world, Seminyak is not as intense or as busy as its neighbor Kuta.

8. Hike up Mount Agung

Located just about 2 hours out of Seminyak, Mount Agung is the highest mountain in Bali and the 5th largest volcano in the whole of Indonesia. Towering at around 3,033 meters (9951 feet) high above the clouds, you can sometimes see Mount Rinjani in the distance in the island of Lombok. If you’re up for an adrenaline rush, you can go on a sunset trek up to the peak of Mount Agung.

The climb itself though is not for the faint-hearted and you need to be at least physically fit to attempt the climb.
