3. Sun City AZ Bus Tours

Sun City AZ Bus Tours are available several times per month. It is a two-hour tour starting with a walking tour from Bell Recreation Center, the rest of the ride will be on the Sun City AZ bus. You will pass by the RCSC Recreation Centers, the Sun Bowl, softball fileds, shopping centers, neighborhoods, and some key community organizations. The guides are all volunteers who are knowledgeable and entertaining, they are ready to answer any questions you might have.

5. Del Webb Sun Cities Museum

This museum was designed with the décor of the 1960s and houses exhibits featuring Del Webb and the company he built, Marinette and the cotton plantation that preceded Sun City, the methods the Webb Corp used to introduce Sun City to America, baseball and spring training in the area, golf, local performing arts, the evolution of Lizard Acres into today’s Sun City West and the “Sundome Jr. Theater” – the smallest theater in Arizona.

6. The Sun Bowl Open-air Amphitheater

You can enjoy some top-notch entertainment at the Sun Bowl in the spring and fall, every Sunday evening, with weekly concerts. Ticketed shows are offered at the Sundial Auditorium, with great value.
