11. Wabasso Bridge
This causeway bridge is a two-lane concrete arch bridge spanning the Indian River in Vero Beach, Florida. The bridge, which was completed in 1970, is a landmark in Vero Beach. 12. Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge

Pelican Island has the honor of being the first National Wildlife Refuge in the United States of America. The refuge was established by former United States President Theodore (Teddy) Roosevelt with the intention of protecting the brown pelican, white pelicans, egrets and other birds from extinction through plume hunting, which is the hunting of wild birds to harvest their feathers. There are also a historic jungle trail and a boardwalk here where you can walk and observe the beautiful birds that reside here.

This is a really beautiful waterfront park along Ocean Drive. There is a playground for kids to enjoy and grills for a fun family barbecue while taking in the beautiful views of the ocean nearby. Among the best museums in town is this magnificent palce. This history museum, which is one of the best destinations in town, has lots of exhibits and relics to observe and study the history of the Indian River Citrus industry. Florida is known to be a big citrus grower. The Indian River Citrus is unique.
Visitors can find information about the citrus’ uniqueness here at the museum. Also, harvesting tools are displayed here and they are interesting to see. In addition to the inside exhibits, outdoor movies are shown here.

15. McLarty Treasure Museum

On July 31, 1715, a fleet of 11 ships traveling from Cuba back to Spain got caught in a hurricane and got wrecked off of the Florida coast. This fleet, called the 1715 Plate Fleet, was carrying silver and left many treasures. McLarty Treasure Museum contains relics and artifacts that were found in the wreckage.

16. Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge

This refuge in Melbourne Beach is known as America’s Sea Turtle Refuge. 17. Hallstrom Farmstead

The Hallstrom Farmstead, also known as the Hallstrom House, is a historic house that started off as a pineapple plantation. On June 6, 2002, the house, which was preserved because of its farmhouse, was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

18. Oslo Riverfront Conservation Area
If you wish to do something a little more than the usual beach hopping and trekking in Florida, there’s also some lush greenery to explore. Check out the Oslo Riverfront Conservation Area in Vero Beach, where travelers and even locals alike can see a whole other side of nature in Florida. Here, you can find stunning flora and fauna like birds and butterflies which you can see close up when you go on nature walks around the conservation. It’s open to the public every first Saturday of the month where they have the option to chose depending on the difficulty level. There is the Hammocks Walks which is moderately easy and the Coastal Wetland Walk that is moderately difficult. Spend a Saturday afternoon at this lovely conservation site and see first hand the hard work locals put in preserving some of the most beautiful greenery in Florida.
