The city of Venice is built on a lagoon, which is made up of 118 little islands all connected through canals, walkways, and bridges. Over 50,000 people reside in the historic city of Venice. Since Venice is a legendary city, it gets a fair share of tourists, and if you’re visiting Italy you’ll definitely want to experience Venice.
