3. Basin Campground

It is open from late May to early September and boasts potable water access, campfire rings with grills, and clean vault toilets, among other features. Furthermore, it is a great spot to go fishing, and there are several scenic trailheads nearby.

7. Palisades Campground

Set along Willow Creek, Palisades Campground is a peaceful and well-kept camping spot that welcomes campers from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The property is perfect for families and couples and is dog-friendly, so don’t leave your furry friend behind while traveling to Red Lodge.

There are six campsites and vault toilets within the area. Note that campers can only stay for a maximum of 16 days. That aside, there are numerous hiking and biking opportunities around the camping spot.
