It has several campsites, all with basic facilities you may need for a good outdoor experience, though you will be disappointed if you were hoping to find power, hookups or water. Arapahoe-Roosevelt is in the west of Denver, and less than 5 mi (8 km) from Blackhawk. The campground has a total of 36 sites available, with 31 of them being well equipped for RVs. The facilities that campers will have access to while at this ground include a playground area, water, and clean restrooms. All of the sites are equipped with a fire grate, a tent pad, and picnic tables. The grounds, however, don’t feature electricity, sewer, and hookups. Some of the interesting outdoor activities you may engage in while camping here include fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain climbing and scenic viewing as you find your way through the woods. This is a bear country, so take all the necessary precautions.
