Tom’s Field Camping New Forest is near Godshill and 3 mi (4.8 km) away from Fordingbridge. It is a quiet site designated for families seeking to enjoy the outdoors in peaceful surroundings. Amenities include a toilet and shower block with hot showers, toilets, sinks, and water taps. Get your phone charged for free at the reception and an ice pack at no cost. Fire pits are set up at the site where you can also buy charcoal, kindling, and logs. Enjoy fantastic views as well as hiking and cycling trails nearby. The park is open all year round.

Lepe Beach Campsite is near Lepe Beach, a family-friendly site that will also appeal to groups of friends. It comprises pre-hitched tents that can accommodate up to six people. An outdoor picnic bench, camping table, and quality beds are other add-ons that come with the package. Despite not having a playground, the picnic area at Lepe Country Park serves that purpose. On this picnic area are swings and climbing frames where kids can indulge. Enjoy stunning views from the campsite, and visit Solent National Nature Reserve and the Isle of Wight. May, June, and July are the best times to plan your camping holidays here.

This campsite comprises 12 pitches around the edge, and all marked clearly with a play area at the center. Children will also enjoy feeding the chicken on the paddock. Aldridge Hill Campsite is a delightful ground with open green fields surrounded by a large forest. It comprises 170 grass-only pitches with no showers, toilets, or electricity so you must bring a chemical toilet. Upon settling down your chosen site, you will be in the vicinity of numerous forest trails with the Ober Water Trail being the most recommended. Whitefield Moor, a short distance away, has quiet settings where you can have a family picnic. Stock up on provisions at Brockenhurst, a pretty village that also has bars. The site will appeal to families and groups. Book your space between June and September.

Hollands Wood Campsite is nestled among 22 ha (54.4 ac) of oak forest and boasts large sites with level ground. It has laundry facilities, toilets and showers, dog shower and baby wash areas but there is no electricity. Thanks to the nearby oak forest, you can access footpaths and bike trails that lead into the woods. Among the attractions are the ponies roaming freely on the site and a picnic site near the Lymington River. Groups, young campers, and families will find the campsite an excellent spot for unwinding. The camp is open from April to November.

Are you seeking a place to soak up the forest’s ambiance? Head to Ashurst Campsite, where 280 standard pitches await with an option of secluded or open spaces. You will be in the vicinity of cycling and walking tracks. On the day you want to relax and do nothing else, a spot under the oak trees will be perfect. Park facilities include flush toilets, dishwashing areas, chemical toilet disposal, and drinking water taps. There is no electricity on site, and the fur babies are not allowed except for lead dogs. The facility welcomes families, groups, and solo travelers and is open from April to September.

Setthorns Campsite is a perfect blend between pitching ground and the wooded area. Notice how nicely the bushes and trees separate the pitches while winding paths head into the forest in all directions. While at Setthorns, you will have ponies and deer making occasional visits. Keep busy by walking the trails or cycling, and you can also visit Red House Museum and New Forest Reptile Center. Bring a chemical toilet as the site has no toilet or shower facilities. The site is open from April to December. Families and groups will enjoy fun activities at the campsite and surrounding areas.
