Hadrian’s Wall is one of the most famous Roman archaeological structures in Great Britain. It runs for 73 mi (117.5 km) in an east-west direction from River Tyne to Solway Fifth. Hadrian’s Wall is best seen from Birdoswald Fort, or on car parks in Cawfields, Steel Rig, and Walltown Quarry. Tourists can walk down the Hadrian’s Wall Path for free. As most travelers would have to walk from coast-to-coast for seven days to traverse the entire length of Hadrian’s Wall, camping sites are the best options to rest and hit the sack after a long and strenuous day. Here’s the lowdown on the best campgrounds near Hadrian’s Wall, UK.
