If you have spent a lot of time in hotel rooms in your life, there is nothing like a change. There’s plenty of unique accommodations to choose from like treehouse hotels and yurts. How about a stay in a cave? In the past, cave accommodations have mostly been heard of in Spain, where the troglodyte caves were converted into comfortable lodging which is both cool in the summer and warm in the winter months. The news soon caught on and nowadays there are cave hotel options in several countries around the world. Italy has some cave hotels, while one hotel in Sweden is set in an ancient silver mine. Some limestone caves in Jamaica have also been converted into comfortable living areas. However, not to be outdone, there is also a range of cave hotels in USA to choose from. Scroll below to find out more.

We handpicked these listings carefully, considering (wherever possible) Superhost status, recent guest reviews, location, accommodation type, prices, availability of dates, decor, and amenities. The image galleries get refreshed with the latest updates regularly. They were last updated on February 06, 2024.
