Their signature dish is the Gobernador, consisting of house-smoked tuna, served with grilled shrimp and cheese. The property initially started as a pop-up but was then made into a small, permanent restaurant with a vegan-friendly dessert place across the street. Located in Koreatown, Tacos El Asador started as a tiny eatery and is now a full-blown restaurant. The decor is bright and pretty with picnic tables and benches for seating. TV screens around the restaurant air Latin American shows. The owners came from El Salvador, meaning the food is a mixture of Mexican and Salvadoran favorites, served on plastic plates and in baskets lined with paper.
