Hostal Corazon de Xoconostle is conveniently located in the San Miguelito neighborhood of downtown San Luis Potosi. This small, comfortable and welcoming hostel provides a simple and affordable alternative to hotels for the budget-minded traveler with outstanding hospitality.

Owned and managed by three local entrepreneurial guys, their goal is 100% satisfaction. Multiple five-star reviews from previous and repeat guests demonstrate they are making an impact on the industry. They strive to provide comfort and convenience to their guests through a welcoming and family environment. They will celebrate their two year anniversary in April.

Make new friends or connect with old ones

Hostal guests frequently become like family as they travel and explore the world. For example, Marco was spending a few days in Corazon de Xoconostle. Undecided if he was going to remain longer, he ran into a motorcycling buddy he first meet overseas over a year before. The two quickly reconnected and spent a few days exploring the San Luis Potosi area before departing for their next destinations. Who knows where the two might next meet.

This is part of the charm and attraction for hostel guests – they make friendships with people all over the world and reconnect in unexpected places as they travel.

In the reception area, several local handicraft gift options made by local artists or previous guests are on display. These unique items are available only at the hostel, supporting the artist and the business.

A cozy patio area, complete with three fruit trees, provides guests a shaded and open place to sit, relax, and visit with fellow travelers. A rooftop patio area provides great views of the local area as well as additional seating for relaxing when the weather is right. On a quiet day or night, you can hear local birds and music floating in the breeze.

Computers and a television room provide guests the ability to connect and catch up with friends back home, wherever that may be.

Kitchen facilities, including a refrigerator, stove, and food preparation/cleaning areas, are available for guests who want to prepare their own meals while staying. For guests who do not want to cook or go out to eat, a local restaurant will deliver to the hostel (a menu is posted for convenience). Community meals are also known to happen from time to time as people share food and conversation.

For those wanting to explore the local area, but not on their own, Miguel provides excursions/tours to local attractions on weekends with a minimum of four interested persons.

Rest well with your wallet in mind
