This ‘revolutionary’ dessert shop is the only banana frozen stand in Austin, that actually operates year-round for catering, and occasionally during the off-season. The company operates from two stands and holds a rather eco-friendly approach, using bananas predominantly from socially responsible brands, and also composting and recycling banana peels whenever possible. Their menu is, what else, revolutionary, 'for all proletarian tastes’ and includes dips and a number of delicious toppings, such as Oreos, coconut, or M&M’s.

5. Tiny Pies

The holidays are here. #ChocolatePeppermintPie

Posted by Tiny Pies on Saturday, 1 December 2018

The word ‘tiny’ can’t be more accurate to describe these mouth-watering pies that have been lovingly prepared since 2011. The idea of creating these pretty small pies comes from the wish to carry an individual piece of the famous baked pies. At the two Tiny Pies shops, they strive to use the finest natural ingredients from local producers whenever possible, while they fill the pies by hand daily. The pies can be sweet (cherry, coconut cream and more) or even savoury (like the spinach and ricotta empanada), and often seasonally-inspired (like the vegan banana cream currently featured).
