The Chinatown markets are virtually next door and the night-time food and drink markets will entice you out almost every night. Just a mere minute away, Chinatown markets are always bustling and if you tire of that, feel free to roam the relatively safe streets at night or head to the LRT station that’ll take you wherever you need to go. Central Market is also nearby, with buses outside the hostel, going there directly along with the trams that can let you drop off close to the markets. There’s also helpful maps available inside the hostel that’ll inform you of how to reach Batu Caves - a half-hour journey from the hostel.
