Iowa, home of the Hawkeye apples, offers more than just the relaxing view of the original Delicious apple orchards. 85% of Iowa’s land is utilized for farming, making it one of America’s largest producers of corn and pork. The sprawling landscape is made of 450 different varieties of soil, making it America’s third state with the largest number of farms. Iowa is bounded on each side by the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers and it is the only state passable by these two waterways. Its lovely rich terrain is the ideal destination for a vacation out in the countryside. The famous Iowa State Fair introduced the cow sculpture in 1911. This massive sculpture made of butter continues to draw crowds by the thousands every year. Here’s a list of the 10 best flea markets in Iowa, the USA, which are constant crowd-pullers, too.
