2. Columbia Greenmarket


Columbia Greenmarket is a food market located on Broadway, on the west side of the Columbia campus, from 114th Street to 116th Street and one block from St Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital. This community destination serves a diverse population, including St Luke’s Hospital staff, university students, faculty and staff, visitors and patients, as well as Upper West Side residents.

A number of the farmers attend on both Thursdays and Sundays. On Thursday, this market thrives on the bustle of the work and school day schedule, while Sundays are more laidback and when neighbours come out to do some serious shopping.

Located in the heart of Noho, the Bowery Market is a uniquely designed open-air food market, occupying the lot of a former auto body shop.
