1. Hand-crafted yurt in with wood stove and stream water (from USD 129)

If you are looking to truly experience life unplugged and off-grid, this yurt may be your ideal vacation rental. Surrounded by pine trees, you’ll be located along the stunning Mickelson trail. There are also plenty of other surrounding hiking paths. This yurt is extremely comfortable, but it is important to know that it is designed for those looking for a retreat. As such, there is no electricity nor running water on site. Instead, you can revel in the experience of gathering spring water direct from the source or from a nearby pump. In the evening time, sit outside on the front deck and stare high past the pine trees to the night sky. We love that the property was lovingly crafted by the friends and family of the hosts. It really does feel very homely. There is a small wood stove that will heat the property, but if you plan to go during the depths of winter we would definitely recommend wrapping up warm.
