These two spacious glamping pods are available for family holidays. Comfortably hosting up to six people, they are located at the base of Carrauntoohil, which is Ireland’s highest mountain, and offer a great base for outdoor activities. Guests at these pods can take advantage of the extra facilities right by their location such as the start of the climbing trail up to the mountain. You can enjoy an open fire at Tea Rooms and at the shower facilities. The pods have carpet floors but there are no available fitted beds. This fairly new property is completely off-the-grid and is a perfect base for those who want to completely switch off from the modern world during a trip. The location is secluded and surrounded by wildlife, including local deers. Guests can take advantage of the wood-fired hot tub and sit out in the evening while watching the stars. It is worth noting that the ground around the yurt is uneven and is not suitable for people who have mobility issues. This yurt also includes a wood-burning fire, a campers kitchen, a separate eco-toilet, and a shower.
