To access the island, you avail of a ferry service or opt for a scenic drive from Mount Vernon. You might cross the popular Deception Cross Bridge on your way. The island is significant both historically and culturally. Here you can find Ebey’s Landing National Historical Reserve, the earliest national historical reserve in the US. If you’re an outdoor enthusiast, you can choose from hiking, fishing, wildlife viewing, or swimming on the beach while here.
