The Rochester Hotel was constructed in 1892, making it one of Durango’s oldest boutique hotels. It had a total makeover in 2022 to include modern king and double queen rooms that supplement the gorgeous architecture of this historic building. 4. Nobody's Inn
Nobody’s Inn offers various apartment-style suites, each with a diverse design and unique name. They are fitted with either a full kitchen or kitchenette so you can cook your own meals and are updated with modern amenities such as Wi-Fi and cable TV. What is amazing is that these units are on the upper floor of a rehabilitated historic building that was built in 1885.
The building was purchased in 2000 by a couple from Chicago who intended to establish an Irish Pub. They instead created a self-sufficient inn for guests who valued their privacy yet wanted something unique. The inn was sold to its current owner, Brenden Trujillo, in 2010.
