They also serve sandwiches, burgers, and pizzas all for less than 25.00 AUD (16.86 USD) a plate. Besides the food, Halo is a full bar specializing in cocktails. Order a mojito or margarita and watch the bartender make it from scratch, or enjoy a martini or glass of local Australian wine with your meal. Are you a sports fan? Come down and grab a beer while watching the game on one of the three large-screen TVs. There’s always a game of cricket or football showing on one of the screens.
Grab a shuttle to the airport right at the front door
Holiday Inn Auckland Airport is only 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) from the airport and is the second-to-last stop on the shuttle route, which means you’ll be at the airport in 2 stops or 20 minutes. The shuttle only costs 6.00 NZD (4.05 USD) and runs every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour. Need to know how much your luggage weighs? Right at the door there is a scale for you to check, so there are no surprises when you get to the airport.
